Electric, cable, net, etc is going to be about antoher $200 a month. You are now at $800 a month, not including food, toiletries, etc. If you have a car, then you have gas & insurance. Health insurance? $1200 a month is not going to be enough to live & pay off your credit cards & ticket unless you can stick to a very strict budget, & have no car.
If you move now you will need at least $1800 to move in (without cable, etc.)
Stay at home until you have paid off your ticket, your credit card is down to at least $1000 & have saved about $3000. |

Pay your outstanding ticket first and foremost. If you can pay off the credit card first try and do so but if you are in too big of a rush to be on your own you can manage as long as you don't add to the credit card.
Try and save 3-6 months bills prior to moving out that way if you were to lose your job or have an accident you wouldn't lose all you worked for immediately.
I don't know about utilities in CA however here in IL I'd expect cable w/internet to be $100, electric will vary per season and usage, as will gas. Ask the landlord the average bills most know them. |

I say make sure you have any current debt paid off. You want money to last yourself for awhile so lets say you need about 200 a month for gas, electric etc.
606 + 200 = 800
Then there's about 50-80 bucks for food (it's better to over estimate your numbers and be safe):
80 bucks x 4 = $320 a month
$320 for food + $800 = $1150
If you make $300 a week, times four so you make $1200?
Thats really close. That leaves you only $50 left over a month for furniture, clothes, soap.
I say you try to work more hours and save up at least 4-5 grand. that way you can move in and have enough money to pay for rent for a long time as you settle in and save up more for the upcoming months. Its gonna be hard but it is possible. Or find a roommate that you already know and super trust so you can split the rent in half. |

Pay off the ticket, and try to pay off the credit card. Electric - $100, Gas - $50, Cable - $80+, Net - $30-$50... So... at least $300/month in utilities... Remember food, clothing, gas (for your car) unexpected repairs... All of your money (and then some) is spent, and you haven't saved a dime...
If I knew then what I know now, I would have lived home a little longer and saved more. |

your utilities would probably cost upwards of $ 200 a month. If you take home 1200 a month, you must still factor in food, transportation, clothing, spending money, plus your other bills. You probably should stay at home for a bit longer and save as much as you can for at least a year, then draw up another budget and see where you're at. |

dont buy anything you dont need, buy enough gas to get to where you need to go, put the rest into a savings account and DONT touch it, arrange to have a job waiting for you when you get there, and if you plan on driving iwould spend a little bit on your vehicle to get it tuned up and make sure its okay for the trip. Moving out is big, and from a guy who knows im telling you your probably going to have to come back. |

consider utilities to be at least half as much as rent. save three months worth of rent/utilities in case of emergencies. best to pay off all debt before moving. add up just the interest in $ you have paid on your credit card and think hard about whether its worth keeping. |

|
Your income does not support a $600.00 per month rent payment.
You should take home a minimum of 3 x rent. If you are taking home $1200.00 per month, you rent should be around $400.00. |
