You cannot stop the title deed holder from selling the property if that is their wish however you have a huge claim on any potential equity if you have cohabited and have contributed to the day to day running and upkeep of the property.
You need to seek legal advise. Most law firms will give you a free 45 minute session and appropriate advise. |

He owns it, you do not.
I would think your rights are the same as any of his other friends or renters. None. It is his, not yours. |

If you name isn't on the deeds then generally no. Are you staying together or splitting up? If you are splitting, you may be able to claim something, depending on how long you have lived there with him and whether you can prove you contributed to the mortgage, bills, upkeep of the flat. |

It depends how long you've lived together. I can't remember whether it has to be two or three years but if it's been this long then yes, you would have de facto rights to all of his property (this means he has then to yours too!). What this means is that the law treats you as a married couple - so you both jointly own everything (including cars etc) but you're also jointly responsible for each other's debts. You'll need to have *proof* that you've lived together for this period, such as having shared bank accounts, bills in both of your names, etc - if you don't have this proof then the rights still apply to you but it gets a little harder to prove. Give the CAB a call for further information on this. |

Probably not. That is the danger of investing in a home you don't own. You are out of luck. |

try phoning citizens advice, i think he would have to evict you first if you can prove this is your home for a certain period, but they would know. p.s. dump him |

I doubt it he owns the flat , I doubt if you hold a tenancy agreement and even if you did you could only delay the sale for the length of the agreement usually 6 mts. |

Why would you even think you have any rights???? Just because you boink him does not mean you get part of his personal prop or real estate. |

If you have canceled checks for your share of rent / mortgage payment then go to see lawyer. |
