No.
Valid reasons for termination will be listed in the lease itself. Usually your car being stolen from the parking lot is not one of the reasons listed in the lease. |

I don't think so. |

no. your apartment manager /owner is not responsible for that. the only way a lease can be terminated is if there are unsfe/unsanitary conditions. (no heat. no water. things like that) even then there are procedures and steps to go about it that varry by state
edit: are you talking about you car lease or apartment? |

No, your insurance will take care of that. My daughter lived in a rented house in NC. She was broken into twice. After the second time she tried to get an early out on the lease and was not able to do so. |

No, why would it. This has nothing at all to do with your lease. |

No, your landlord didn't steal your car. In most leases there would be a clause that you could break your lease if you feared bodily harm with no lease break penalties, but, you would have to prove that you had reasonable cause to believe you were in danger. Your landlord is not responsible for crime, and unless living there is putting you in harms way, you have to stick to your lease.
edit: oh, I didn't think about car lease, I would have no idea about that. Read your terms... |

what the hell does your car have to do with your lease? not the landlords fault, so it won't even get you out of paying for the parking stall. |

Not unless your landlord was the one who stole it. |

Did your landlord steal it themselves?
Did they fail to provide a service specified in the lease like a guard?
If not then no |

did you have insurance? Are you looking for a way out of your lease? I think your car getting stolen was a good lesson on thrift....if you go to a cheap neighborhood, you might have to fight to keep what's yours. |

Smiles ... are you wanting to get out of your lease Hon? Either way, I'd have to say 'No'. If your apartment is supposed to have security and someone stole your car anyway, you may be able to hold them responsible. If you're worried that you might loose your apartment beause your car was stolen, again, 'NO'. You lease cannot be cancelled because your was stolen. You can however have the leasr terminated if the apartment conplex was to provide security and didn't. Not sure which was you want this to go. (Scratches Head) |

It depends if the vehicle is recovered and what type of damage there is.
I'd call the dealership and explain your situation... |

No it cannot. The very same thing happen to me about 3 months ago while living in a gated community with 24 hr security cameras and guards. The apt manager stayed out of the office because I was looking for her azz and my car. When the police detective assigned to my case tried to look at the security cameras she was told that she could not view the tape because the had only 1 system to record on. I put in a 30 day notice and moved the f_ck out. Apartment communities do not give a dam about anything but the rent. Now if your apt is BROKEN into then that is a different story. |
