NO its not illegal. Ever hear of the equal housing act?!? ITs her house...if she want to rent it to circus monkeys..thats her right. Just because someone has a lot of kids doesnt mean they are going to be a bad neighbor. Give them a chance! I have 7 kids and my kids are very respectful of our neighbors house and property. They dont go over into their yard without permission and never throw trash into their yard. IF these kids disrepect your privacy or property..then talk to the mother(or father) They might just turn out to be the best neighbors!

mutersr
you should mind your own business unless its affecting you personally.

If the house is big enough to give the kids the necessary space, why shouldn't it be legal?

andreaousby
i feel sorry for her if she has to live next to you-

tiffiek
It depends on the house. If it's a 2 bedroom house, no it is not. Your local laws determine how many children per room and how old that can be for mixed sex sharing. The department that handles occupancy permits will give you information on how many children can live in a given house.

yes, she can rented to whom she pleases, and kids, don't matter as long as they don't disturb neighbors or make destructions.

If there is enough room why not, my grandmother had 9 girls and 6 boys it's being Catholic. are they doing anything to you are your property? if not you should mind your own business.

SPOOKY
Wow 10 kids that's crazy. They probably drive u crazy haha, but yea it's totaly legal.

moviegirl
Why wouldn't that be legal. It's legal to rent out your house and it's legal to have 10 kids. Therefore it's legal to rent out your house to a lady with 10 kids.

They have to live somewhere. I think the only rule would be that it would have to be at least a 3 bedroom house for that many people.

attorney_johnson
The legality depends on whether the local building code provides for minimum standards for number and size of bedrooms according to the number of occupants. And while you are down at the building department checking out the code, ask them if its legal for you to maintain a tiger on your property next door. I hear that tigers really love kids...

hunksicle
To have 10 kids? Yes.
