My house went to foreclosure and then to sale. I have now been contacted by the bank that purchased the house?
The bank that purchased the house has sent me a letter saying I have to vacate the property in 6 days. Is there anything I can do to get more time to vacate or save the house or is it to late for everything? Need some advice badly. Any advice would be a big help. By the way I am in Arizona. PLEASE HELP !!!

You needed advice about 6 months ago.

Someone else owns the house and you no longer have any legal right to occupy it.

This is no surprise, you had MONTHS to move out.

Have your friends help you pack if you can't do it in 6 days or hire a moving company to help you. You have been freeloading for awhile now, you must have a healthy nest egg saved up.

You lost the house. It's way late to start asking how to save the house. It's LOST!

You are now in someone elses house. GET OUT! This shouldn't have been a surprise and you have had more then enough time to find another place to live.

How do you expect to 'save the house', when it's already been sold to another party ? If you do not vacate in the six days requested, the bank will immediately pursue eviction under law. Not sure how long this takes in Arizona, but don't count on anything more than a few extra weeks over the six days. Start packing NOW, and searching for a different place to live when you have a bit of spare time.

I would rent a storage unit and save as much of my stuff as possible because in 6 days anything left in the house is going to go into the dumpster.

If they have purchased the house at foreclosure, they own it and have the right to evict you immediately.

There may be local laws that may give you a few more days if you contact the local Justice of the Peace, but you can not get your house back unless you buy it from the bank that now owns it.

if you don't leave in the 6 days the bank gave you they will file it in Court then you will have to go to court and the judge will give you a date to be out ,, you got to move , you have lost the house, and the bank has every right to evict you

If you are this far in foreclosure you knew well in advance you would have to be out. If you do not leave in 6 days they will just send the sheriff to remove you and your items. They will place your stuff in storage and charge you to get it back. I would suggest you pack up and move out. Your only option may be to pay all back payments and fees. They MAY let you continue to live there if you do. I would say it is probably to late. Sorry

You knew this was coming, obviously did not pay the mortgage for the last few months, and should of saved the money and planned for this event. To late to save your house.

Look up your state's laws to find out what recourse you have, and you might want to talk to an attorney about getting more time.

If you want to try on your own first, contact the bank and ask for an additional week or two to get your things moved out of the house. Give them a specific date and your plans, and they might be willing to give you the time. They don't want to see you evicted right away and causing damage to the house.

!!!
You may want to contact a real estate attorney in Arizona. Other than that it is to late for everything. How would you "save" the house without any funds?

Actually there is one last avenue left. Could any extra bedrooms be rented to other people to help pay the mortgage payment?

The only real options you have are to try and obtain a loan to refinance, send the bank a copy of the application and ask them to hold off proceedings for a week until loan approval has been decided on (really depends on how long you have let the payments default as to whether they will accept this option), or you can request to put the house on sale privately (which, while it would cost you money, is usually in your best interest because the bank isn't ater getting the best deal for you, they just want some money and fast and if there is a shortfall in what is owed, they know they can come afteryou got this amount).

If they approve your request to sell privately, get the paperwork done asap and send them the contract front page once it is prepared and hopefully you will get an ok deal.

Legally, they are not obligated toallow you to do either of the above but it will save them moneyif you go either path so they may be open. Can only try.

Good luck.

Your only recourse was to save the home prior to foreclosure, now it's gone to foreclosure and been sold to recoup the money the bank had in it. be glad they gave you 6 days to vacate rather than 24 hours which they have the right to do.

There's no way that you'd be able to refinance with a foreclosure on your credit.

You have no choice left but to vacate.
