I suggest Virginia Beach, Virginia. It is a good city located on the east coast, with a gorgeous beach. It is growing at a good rate, what with Town Center being constantly constructed and renovated. |

Colorado, Vermont, Wisconsin, Oregon, State of Washington, Wyoming, Carolina, Connecticut., Pennsylvania.
Now it depends a lot on if you have to work or are retired.

I live in St Charles County, MO, which is the western suburbs of St. Louis. I have no complaints, but I don't know what you do for a living or recreation. I would think that would matter. If I could just pick up and move anywhere (if my wife didn't have to live within 2 hours of her parents for some reason) I would probably move to Colorado because I love to trail run and cycle. |

depends on what your husband does for work or wants to do to make you and him happy. I would suggest Massachusetts, better job economy, low housing market....80.000 to 300,000 for a house 3 storys 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms out in western mass. You got the ocean the seasons, but the storms are nothing compared to the midwest there very much wussy like. florida is spandex sweety shirt weather....way to much bad weather....... |

I tell you what I moved from Toledo Ohio to Lexington South Carolina and I couldn't be happier. The city is nice, growing, close to a major city, nice weather (NO SNOW) and you can get nice houses pretty cheap in the area. But I guess it all depends on your job |

Wisconsin is great as we have 4 seasons that are lovely, colorful fall, beautiful snow in winter, flowering trees,shrubs, etc in spring and a summer that is never too hot. You say community so it sounds like you would prefer something smaller than the lagest city in area. I have a home in Door Cunty where we have many smaller communities, but the largest city is Sturgeon Bay, good schools, shopping, homes, etc. Also have home in suburb of Milwaukee where you have gobs of choices in a 5 county wide area. Again, good schools, jobs, weather, homes and on and on. |
