You can go to your local recorders office and file a Quit Claim Deed to add your name onto the deed. Its a pretty simple form that most people can do on their own. There most likely be a recording fee charged by your county to do this... varies by county.
If you currently have a mortgage out on the property, this will not add your name onto the loan. If you want to be added onto the mortgage (to add your name to the financial liability of the mortgage so they recieve credit reporting, etc. you need to contact your mortgage company directly.)

Any title and escrow company can give you the necessary form to do this. If you go to the title company your husband closed with, they will probably file it for you at no charge. |

In most states you will need to get a Deed or a Grant Deed. It should read that your husband as Grantor is deeding to himself and you in the grantee spot. Don't forget the vesting, that is how you are holding title together. For example husband and wife as joint tenants. A local Title Company may be able to give you the forms and some advice on how to fill them out. If you have a copy of the old deed you can use it to help fill out the new one. |

Depending on the state you live in, it may not be necessary to do that. Beyond that, you might have to have his signature. Good luck. |

I'm sure they will add your name to the deed without a problem. But you'll need the houseowners permission of course. Which in this case is your husband. |

You will have to have your husband quit claim deed the property from him to you and him as husband and wife. This creates a "tenancy by the entireties" which is a marital tenancy in which upon the death of one spouse, the property automatically converts to the sole ownership of the surviving spouse upon recording the death certificate in the county in whcih the proprty is located. |
