He is an old friend of my husband's father.. They grew up together, so when we moved here from another area he offered his apt. without a lease. For 1 yr now, he keeps calling us at all times of they day from 7am to 12:30am...Yeah, all day!
We can't make noise, we can't walk downstairs after a certain time because he has our side of the basement rented to some people and the basement's ceiling isn't insulated. He allowed us to get a dog, but he calls everyday to bug us and starts arguing not to feed the dog more than once a day because he keeps going to the yard and pooping, which my husband picks up anyways. He calls to tell us not to take the dog outside at night because the people downstairs are sleeping.
He calls to tell us to shut the dog up when the dog barks because he wants to go outside, He'll start fighting and saying that the dog is sick because he had a dog yrs ago and his dog never barked. He screams through the walls to put a mussell on the dog so that he won't bark. (He only barks to go outside)
He said my husband didn't tell him that the dog would be barking,etc.. So we decided to move ASAP.. We told him.. He agreed...now he's mad because we're leaving and he has to pay his mortgage on his own..
So today he called at 12:25am because my husband and I where cleaning the bedroom and apparantely he heard us..He called to fight and say That we shouldn't be cleaning at that time. We should be cleaning in the morning when no one is home.. I'm afraid he'll keep calling us and harrassing us until the day we leave.
He called also at 7pm to ask what we were doing, because he heard us talking about packing and he said that we shouldn't be making noise because the neighbors downstairs are trying to sleep.
We live in a duplex apt. He lives next door.. The other neighbors live underneath our side of the house.
