Can you afford to catch up on the overdue payments? You could also rent it out so the other people can make the payments for you. Thats what we did. |

Your parents let it go without paying the debt they contracted to pay. Now, it is not your right, nor in your best interest, to keep a house that isn't affordable and that the bank basically owns. Focus on another direction, and stay out of debt in your future. |

Call the bank, ask them how much to get back on track, then write them a check. It's amazing how many problems can be solved with money.
Oh yeah, that brother of yours. He's got to go. Make it a condition of your bailing him out that he walks away and you take full and unrestricted possession and ownership. |

If the house is in your parents name, it's ultimately their decision what happens to it. That is until the bank performs a foreclosure... then it belongs to the bank once again. I'd suggest having a talk with your parents about your desire to take over the payments. There may still be a chance, but if the bank is already threatening to foreclose, you don't have much time. |
