My neighbors below me are excessively loud....can i get them kicked out?
Im a renter in Cali. My neighbors are constantly blasting music as well as having half a dozen people over every night. On most nights the party doesnt stop until about 3 am. Sometimes they like to have ping pong tournaments until 5 am though. Also they deal marijuana out of the apartment and like to scream along to Billy Idol songs and steal my parking spot. I have filed 2 noise complaints in the past month but the situation hasnt improved. Any suggestions?

continue to call the cops on them and document this. Ask to file a formal complaint against them and inform your landlord that you are taking these actions. Everytime your neighbors annoy you, call your landlord...he/she will get sick of the inconveinience of the matter and hopefully evict them. Meanwhile, filing a formal complaint should do something, hopefully. Be dilligent about it. I know how you feel, I've been in your situation more than once...it sucks.

lee
you need to get a petition together and have other tenets in you building sign it to force management to kick them out Calling the police only keeps the police from doing there jobs and noise polution dont work either its just stupid just do what I say and it will be fixed

Call the cops, that should do the trick.

Have you tried calling the law on them? It will get them kicked out after once or so. Depending on where you live some cops just don't put up with that kind of stuff and if they are selling pot then yes they will be moved.

document through the superintendant or landlord your complaint. Keep copies. Call Police for these incidents. Tenants association or complaint board will review tenant contract or lease for clauses included such as "causing significant distress or discomfort to the community tenants and residents of the apartment complex" and others included in "Cause for termination from premises"
Otherwise go to http:www.handelonthelaw.com

I would definitely call the police own my own and let them know what is going on. Also, if nothing gets better ask the landlord to change your building-b/c obviously, you're probably not the only one hearing these people!

giddyupgirl136
do you have the same landlord? if so tell him its them or you. bet hell pick you.keep complaining.do it every night if you have too.

trickyschum
Well I hate for anyone to get in trouble but if it is getting that bad tell them to chill out if they don't call the cops. Why should you have to suffer because of their inconsideration.

bootyliouscaramelhottie
at first aske them can they cool down the noise.then if they don't then call the police without letting them know what you are doing.since the landlord won't be able to do anything.then let the police handle it

jinxy84
I would go pass the owned and talk to the cops. I would explain the situation and they should be able to take care of the problem. After you talk to them I would talk to the owner in person and tell them something needs to be done or you will turn them in to the cops.

Wenzel
There is such thing as noise pollution, and drug dealing is not legal. If your landlord still doesn't take action against them/ kick them out, you could call the police an tell them about the situation. If you don't have much evidence though, it will be difficult to try and get them out.

cinderella_and_herprince
Talk to the landlord and if this doesnt work you can always make a report to the police. after several from people in your building I am sure the landlord will have no choice but to take some action. Especially if they are doing illegal activities.

I would issue a complaint with the local police force. If you keep complaining they will get the picture and either get kicked out or leave.

u just call the owner of the apartment neighborhood that u live in and tell them that u have VERY loud neighbors below you and the first time u call about it, they will charge the people below u around $25. That was the warning fine in The Pines. The apartment neighborhood that i used to live in.
