Is there anything that I can do? I have a four year old son. The cops were here the other night. We live in a garden apartment, and they moved in in May I think. I mean, they go at it ALL NIGHT LONG. You cheated on me, you did this to me, on and on and on. Anything I can do??
Additional Details
I wrote a letter to the landlord, I called them today. They were leaving garbage in the common hallway too which was really great on those 90 plus days! I can't wait to buy a house! |

The only thing you can do is document everything. Whenever they start the fighting call the police & file a police report then send a certified letter to your landlord with a copy of the police report & follow that up with a call to your landlord. After you send a few of these the landlord will either evict them or he/she will do nothing about it.
After that your only other choice (assuming the landlord does nothing) is to send another certified letter to your landlord stating that you are planning to move and you want out of your lease because of the situation. Your landlord will then remedy the situation or will let you out of the lease early.
Unfortunately when you live in an apartment or condo you have to put up with neighbors that share a wall. Having a home sometimes is a hassle too. Our current next door neighbors are the loudest people on the block. You can hear them down the street when they are on the phone or when they are talking to each other. It is super annoying.

All you can do is report it to the landlord and keep calling the police.
I actually had to sell a home about 10 years ago because my neighbor decided to rent his home to 4 college students--that were fraternity brothers.
He didn't care, and the police kept making arrests, but the situation never changed. I finally had no choice but to move in order to get through a night and sleep. |

File reports with the leasing agent when things get out of hand. If things seem more heated than usual, call the police.
I hate the yard work, but I love my house for that exact reason. Good luck. |

If you decide to actively intervene by approaching your neighbor, ensure you have a credible adult witness with you so that the neighbor will not make false allegations against 'you.' You want to avoid additonal aggravation for yourself and your son. |

Report to the landlord EVERY time they do something, it is also good to make a formal complaint to the police. This way it is all on record and they will not be able to deny it. i would not speak with them directly, this may cause more of a problem than you already have.

If i was u i would go over and ask the nicely to please keep it down u have a son trying to sleep or something and u don't want him to wake and hear the swearing and if that doesn't work then i would call the police if u rent then call ur landlord and if they rent try ther landlord if that doesn't work out |
