I have been down this road. Call 2 county offices. Environmental Health and Code Enforcement.
You may have to call several times, as they will give him a dead line.....and then another.....and then another. Eventually he will either clean it up or they will and bill him for it. |

Contact your local City Hall. There has to be some kind of city ordinance against such eyesores. If nothing else, contact the Department of Health. They would know the proper channels. An area like that is a breeding ground for rats and roaches and who knows what other "hazards" would be found upon deeper investigation. |

There must be a local zoning board within Mount Airy (nice place, by the way). Contact them. In this area (upstate NY), that board can take legal steps to force a clean-up. May be different in NC. Good luck. |

I would call codes on him. Thats what I did when the neighbor behind me had his entire back porch covered in trash bags (I'm talking dozens!) in the summer for weeks. It was disgusting and attracting all kinds of critters & bugs. I called city hall & asked them how to get into contact with the city's code enforcement. |

Call your housing or building department, they have regulation on storage of these items and will come in and make him clean it or he will be fined. If he doesn't, then they will have it cleaned and bill him. |

Report him to disability- your not allowed to make money and double dip -collect from the government. When disability comes out to check on him- I guarantee his yard will be clean. Also file a complain in your township about it.

They have a 800 number and you don't have to give your name about disablity fraud. It he can fix cars at home- he can work a job. Sorry- it's CA but I am sure they have the number for NC too.

you really want to rub this fellow the wrong way over a trashy yard? unless you own your property and his is making yours lose value, i'd leave it alone. don't start nuttin won't be nuttin. Some people can push back as hard as they get pushed. and you'd be messing with his livelihood to mess with his disability. I ain't sayin, i'm just sayin, ya know? |
