You can bet that he will sue you. It is the American way, Unless he is not a legal resident. Anyone on your property is your responsibility, and must be insured. Your homeowners insurance should be the one to cover the suit.
If I were you I would contact your insurance agent at once, I almost lost coverage because a lady fell on my stairs and I did not notify the INS at once. They did not even tell me for two weeks after it happened. And I did notify the agent, so I lucked out. |

First answer is correct, but not complete. Your homeowner's insurance probably provides you with at least some protection; give your agent a call. |

YOU are responsible for anyone working on your property. You should always have them produce proof of insurance or be listed as an additional insured to protect yourself. It doesn't matter if you hired Joe Blow's Lawn Service. If he has no insurance, you are on the hook.
Good Luck. |

Anyone can sue anyone these days. The question is really whether you were at all negligent and therefore caused his injury. That would be for a judge to decide. |

Call your insurance company, or give him your insurance company's info, you probably have at least $100,000 in liability coverage. My friend's child had a serious injury while at another friend's house. Their health insurance was not that great, so the friend's homeowners covered medical expenses; and the cost of their homeowners insurance never went up. |

Yes he can sue you, if he does your insurance should cover it but your insurance payments will rise because of him suing you.
I walk across your property trespassing, trip on my shoe string and break my arm I can sue you. Though I was at fault for trespassing I can still sue you because I broke my arm on your property. |

your homeowners insurance should cover any medical cost if he does not have insurance |

Worksman comp ... I would think, he got injured while on a job for you on your property , I do not think homeowners insurance covers that, but the right thing to do is pay his medical expenses. |
