Just be honest, short and to the point. I don't have a business, but I have gotten discounts on my rent at my appartment complex due to flooding and other maintenance problems (repeatedly.) Don't be a push over either. |

Bwa! Like he cares. Your only hope is to speak with him one to one. A letter is not only a coward's way out it can also be used against you in court. Go see the man! |

it's pretty unlikely that your landlord will grant your request unless he doesn't really need the income from your rent. it's probably better to speak with him face-to-face than try to express yourself in a letter.
it would be better to ask if you can give him the money a week or so late. most landlords will grumble and maybe charge you a little extra, but they'll let you do that. asking him to waive the rent for this month entirely is asking too much. did you live in his property this month? then you must pay him for it. |

Wont happen. You're asking him to receive less money so you can keep more. Or better yet, you're asking him to make his business slower because yours is.
Thats what you're asking.
Wont happen, but good luck. |

You can ask, but I doubt you will get it. Your landlord has bills, too. |

Life is not a dress rehearsal!
 |
Business is typically business and if you have a lease with a landlord that says you will pay x amount of dollars on a certain day then in business that's what's expected. Unless certain exceptions were made in your lease agreement for things like repairs etc. What you are asking for doesn't seem really realistic. However, I'll pray that your needs will be met idealistically rather than in a realistic way. |

Its a waste of time, he wants his money and could care less if your business is down. After all its not his fault. |

I can help you write a letter, just message me. However, have you asked if it is ok? normally just verbally telling your landlord is fine, and other landlords could care less. So, I want to be sure you are doing the right thing. |
