Get a job. Start with a fast food restaurant. They have a high turnaround, so you should be able to get a job quick. No one is going to hand you any money if you don't work. |

If you go down to your local Jobcentre Plus they should be able to advise you on who to contact and also what your work options are, you should be able to get free counselling and training too. They're there to help you so don't be shy!
Oh and don't get pulled into your bf's debt, that's definitely HIS problem. Truth of the matter is that no matter how much someone says they love you, if they ask you for money to pay off their debts then they're just using you. People can be callous and mean, not everyone, but plenty. |

I would ring childline if you are still young. If not, google "womans shelters" and your area and get ahold of them |

Just like most abused people you simply ran from one problem right into the arms of another looser.
Forget the men and get your own act together! Find an abuse shelter in your area. |

It depends on your age. If you are of legal age, you can seek rent assistance through a social services program. If you are under-age, I recommend seeking help and possibly getting a foster home. |

If you are under 18 you cannot rent a property in your own name sadly. You need a good credit rating and a source of income unless you can provide parents as guarentors, which you obviously cannot.
Try these people: http://www.refuge.org.uk/ They should be able to find you accomadation and help you if you are over 18 and want to apply to rent a place.
Good luck :) |

Have you tried going to a womens and childrens shelter? They have the means and knowledge to help you get a job, save up your money and get a place of your own. They also offer protection from the people abusing you and are a wonderful at helping you get your life back on track. That is what they are there for. Most offer you a place to stay while you are getting back on your feet and usually they don't charge if you don't have a job, or charge very little if you do, so you can save your money. There are some really nice resource centers and shelters now days, not like the horrible ones you see on TV, so please consider it instead of the streets. If you don't know where one is in your area, contact your local Health and Human Resources Department and they will be able to give you their contact info and address. I sincerely hope things get better for you. As a past victim, I understand how very hard it is to do this on your own. Just stay strong and know that your life will get better the longer you are away from the violence. Feel free to email me if you would like to talk or need more information. |

Sucks, but welcome to the real world. First get a job, anything to bring in money, if your under 16 you can work at certain jobs, over 16 fast food is a quick option, or waiting tables, as you can work alot and get quick money from tips.
Save everything to get ready for deposits, rent, furniture. you can then maybe step up to a long term stay hotel that allows you to pay by the week. From there an apartment, and maybe rent a house with a roomate. Babysteps, and no quick answers. |

You haven't given your age but you need to contact the local council to see if you can get onto the housing list, Also if you are a minor you can get help from Social services. There are also Womens Refuges you can go to for help. |
