I think you need to do some research. You are living in a dream if you think you will get anything like you described for $200.00 a month.
Check out you local paper, that should give you some idea about prices. Then go see some of the ones you think you can afford. You will probably be disappointed.
Most rentals do not include all utilities so make some phone calls. Find out how much it would cost you for hook ups and ask people you know who rent how much utilities run them a month.
I do hate to burst your bubble but if you are thinking of moving on your own at 17 you must at least be realistic. |

The only place you even have a CHANCE at that price is in a neighborhood where BOTH sides of the tracks are bad... if you know what I mean.
That would cost at least $1000+ per month. |

Well I would say your still in Teenage Fantasy Land. You'd be lucky to find a room for 200. Maybe you should save up and stay home until you have enough for a place. |

Well you can get a pretty nice apartment in Thailand for about $300 a month, with a $900 deposit.
Or mabe Bangalore India, there's a nice one for $200.

But dont forget,, you will still need a deposit. |

Wow, I think you're not going to find anything "nice" in that price range. I don't know about where you live but I live in Texas and our "nice" 2 bedroom apt costs $970 a month plus bills. |

Sorry, even if you could find a place with rent that cheap - you legally can't enter into a contract until you're 18 - it's illegal for landlords to rent to you....and if they did, you wouldn't legally have to pay rent because you're not legally able to agree to pay anything.
I think you should probably consider rent that's at least twice that, if you're looking to live in a rat hole - prices go up if you want a nicer place.
Sorry, no good news for you :(
I might suggest going to college and staying in a dorm - student loans are SO easy to get these days, and a college education is pretty much a necessity in today's world. |
