Shorty | One of my roommates didn't know we had to pay 1st month rent when we sign the lease? |
We came up with the idea of her writing a check for $400 as "good faith money", since my other roommate and I can pay our share.
We each have to pay $1035 so she's $635 short. We get paid on Friday (since we all work together) but it's not gonna be a $635 paycheck.
Any ideas? Or do you think we're honestly screwed. |

Tell her to borrow money from her parents or other friends. I don't see why she would get an apartment or whatever without having some cushion money, but since its already past that point I would say she needs to look at paycheck advances, loans, or borrowing money from family or friends. You can also sell off some stuff on ebay. |
