I need as much advice i could get please help. I fell behind on my rent due to a Lien on my credit for a defaulted student loans. My plan was to pay my back rent with my income tax checks and instead my checks were withheld by IRS . then resulting in garnishment of my checks. I received a notice in april , i went to court arranged a payment plan and the payments were to high. I paid the first month and the second month I had to put the money together the landlord sent me back to court because the payment was late. I decided to try to get Emergency Assistance from Social Services the landlord gave me 30 days to work with SS and i had to pay the months rent on time i paid the rent but SS is only willing to help me with Half of the arrears and the only way they will pay this is if i prove to pay the other half. they won't give me a letter until Half of arrears is paid . I received a notice of Eviction from Marshall and ihave to go back to court , i don't know what to do.

i have done everything from going to citizens advice Bureau to catholic charities and noone wants to help me because i have no childred. Please i am scared. My mother moved to Italy about 2 months ago , my dad lives in Dominican Republic. no siblings and no family. All my friends live with their parents or have no room in their house. I have been tryin to see if someone lends me the money but no one can. I have no where to go and i am scared that i will be in streets soon. Please Help i am scared , the only way i could get this paid is with time and slowly i am depending on my bi weekly checks from work , thats all i have. Please someone tell me what my options are. I know if i get evicted i won't be able to get another Apt, especially not in NY . PLLLLEEAASSEE ADVICEE.
