Well said Maria, i too like in a lovely 2 bed terrace house and i love it, the area is lovely and very much sought after!
As for how much your house will be worth all depends on how the market is (30 years is a long time away), i bet that you will have made some money, but wouldnt like to make a guess as to how much. |

historically house prices increased 3-4% a year but that's drastically changed in the last 15 yrs - who knows - should be at least 250-300k at an absolute minimum - hopefully |

housing prices usually double every 9 years. I would case about 400-500,000, but it depends on the area.
In the DC metro area, an average house that sold for 50,000 in 1976 is worth about 400,000 today. |

The better question would be: "How much is 135k worth in 30 years" ? The inflation is 3% every year.....so in 30 years this is 60% inflation altogether. So imagine you have a painting of a famous artist that remains absolutely constant in value.....and it costs 135k now...then it would need to cost 225k without having increased in value. So if the house still costs 135k in 30 years, you have lost 60% of your money.....and at the moment house prices go down! about 500K, the slump in house prices has happened before in the early 90`s, they will go up again soon, so anyone out there waiting to buy really cheap be careful they can go up just as quick as come down in price |

This question would depend on the region or market your house is in. Schools in the area and how it develops over time. In short, no one could realistically answer that questions without a host of other information and even then it would be a prediction. |
