Should I move home?
I live in share accomodation in East London and would really like to move to Canary Wharf.

That would cost double what I pay now in rent. Currently my rent is about half a day's pay, so if I move it would be about a full day's pay. I work in full-time temporary contracts.

Share accomodation is okay, but as I'm 30 years old I think it would be nicer to have a place by myself. Before moving to London I had my own place for over 5 years.

I'll be working in Canary Wharf next month, so I could walk to work too.

Mate I've lived in London since day 1, if you can even afford to rent where you are... you are already richer than the average person. If you can afford to even think about moving to Canary Wharf and dont kow why??? It proves my theory that the wrong people are in the wrong jobs and unfortunately, but most obviously don't realise it.

Depends on your viewpoint, I reckon disposable income should be spent on enjoyment so where you live isn't important as long as it is clean and warm.

sam1234
all your wages will be spent on your rent if you move. Surely there most be somewhere cheaper.

If you follow your heart which obviously says you need to move, then I feel the money loss will weigh less than the gained happiness of independence.

Robby P123
I think you should. Good luck whatever you decided.

sexyguba
sure...why not !!

Guess it depends on how much you want your independence. There are both pros and cons of sharing. Alot depends on the people you live with not just the financial side of things. You could also move to Canary and still share.
