If you pay rent, you have the right to keep your room any way you want it. However, she can kick you out any time she wants if you have no written contract.
Don't give her any more money, save it for your deposit on an apartment. |

You need to clean your room! Have you checked rentals lately? No doubt your Mom has gone as far as she could to let you stay there and no doubt, you have the best deal ever!
Pay her what is due, go on your merry way and try to find as nice a place for the money to rent. Someplace where you'll have to find your own cable tv setup, your own internet service, no food in the fridge, no furniture (no, you can't take yours with you)...you have the best in the world at home, why blow it?
Work it out..... |

Ask her if she wants it. You are going to have a LOT of new bills as well as the need to buy LOTS of things. While you should definitely leave she should help you out by not expecting rent that last 30 days. |

Unless you are leaving right now, you should still pay the rent for the month you'll still be there. |

If you live in your mother's home, you should pay rent. If you plan to live there for the next 30 days, then you should pay rent. I don't know if you are in the U.S., but here, she's not obliged to provide you ANYTHING as of the day you turned 18.
I'd say you're incredibly stupid if you don't straighten up and start cleaning your room. If you don't, I don't blame her for throwing you out. You're 18, and that means you're an adult who's old enough to know how to behave when they live in someone ELSE'S home - and that's what you're doing, like it or not. Clearly you still have some growing up to do. |

naw.....shes not going to miss the money if shes kickin you out, tell her I cant pay you and move, and I might need another 30, to have enough money to move..........but stick to the plan, w/ no excuses........ |

It's easier to clean your room than move out.
I feel for you. My mom was a nut about cleaning to the point of being obsessive.
I just played along with ol mom and did what she said since she was the boss.
What are you going to do next?
Quit your job because you boss asks you to clean up your desk? |

You don't. The worst that could happen is she will tell you to leave now. Unless there is a contract she can do nothing and it looks like it won't change your relationship since she is kicking you out. |

unless you actually have a writen contract you dont have to give her anything, however after you are 21 she can kick you out |
