Should i live in a hotel?
i think it wold be cool to live in a hotel.
something like in the movie eloise in the plaza
some people were living in the hotel.
i love staying in hotels because it gives the nice fresh feeling.
plus wouldn't it be cheaper?
like if a room cost about $1,000 a night it will only be $360,000 a year.

like eventually i will settle down in a house but i really like the idea of living in a hotel for a few years/
what are the pros and cons?
Additional Details
well where i like to live..which is my hometown. the houses are 5mill. and nyc is pretty close by

Well, heck, if you can afford it, why not? You get free maid service, room service, and the rooms would probably be really nice for that price. I can't imagine being able to afford $1000 a night! Lucky you!

what are you, 10 years old

If you're discussing costs as "only $365,000 a year", you obviously have more money than brains.

$365,000 will buy you a house - a LARGE HOUSE - in many places in the country.

If you really have $365,000 to spend on rent each year, and want to live in a hotel you'd be better off BUYING the hotel and living in one of the penthouse suites. That way you'll be making money from the hotel, and you'd still get to live your dream living in one as well.

:)
uhhhhhhh 1000 dollars per a night? not trying to be rude here. i think you should live in an apartment.

Good ideal. but it isn't reality. If you have so much money and always do so crazy thing, the Mafia will murder you for your momey in hotel like that we have seen in many films.

If you had $360,000 a year to spend on housing, then you make well over one million a year. If you make over 1 million a year, then you can afford a beautiful 3 million dollar home and own it within 30 years. If you could afford to live in a 3 million dollar home, you would find living in a hotel disgusting.

Why disgusting? Because where in the world are you going to put all your assets the other $640,000 dollars a year will buy you? You can't exactly start moving your own furniture into a hotel; hanging the big screen TV.... and knocking out walls for your spa.

Work for a Consulting company when you grow up and get out of college; or work for the airlines as a flight attendant. You'll get yourself good and sick of hotel rooms within the year.

ok well i dont want to be rude (seriously i'm not trying to be rude) but HELLO!!!! are you freakin kidding me... a thousand bucks per night (i mean if you are like bill gates daughter or something them maybe that'll work but otherwise i wouldnt try) and second you'd spend 360000 dollars a year when you can actually OWN i repeat OWN something.... If you are very rich give some money to the needy who dont even have a tent to sleep in at night...

and hotel rooms are always scarey: have you watched 1408 ??? You never know what has happened inside them.... or what could happen inside them...... get a townhouse and live your life as a normal person.
