no but Id tell him you give him permission to have it installed on your property , I think generally that the way it works , if it ain't your property then you need permission from the owner to have a dish ...... never heard of the owner must provide it .
don't know anyone in a council place who got the council to get them a dish if they pay the monthlies !!!
there just trying it on with you .. |

No I wouldn't pay for it. That is a luxury he doesn't really need.
If your comfortable giving him permission to install you can do so but let him know it will be at his own expense. |

I'd check your contract, It should say that any alterations to be carried out with the consent of the landlord. He should be asking your permission to install it and you should, if you wish, allow it on the condition that it is removed when his lease is up and that any damage done is repaired by a reputable builder. |

I wouldn't - you wouldn't pay for it in the UK so why should you in Spain? In the UK it would be assumed that the tenant would pay for it themselves. This may not be the norm in Spain but if he's English then he shouldn't have any problems with this. |

If he agrees to an increase in rent to cover the cost fine, otherwise he pays, he gets the benefit |

Personally, I wouldn't, but if he wants it, you can tell him that he can add it, but with no contract... |

No, let him put it on his own name, if he wants Sky, as the minimum contract is 12 months. |

If he wants you to pay to install it the he will expect you to maintain it if anything goes wrong with it, so you should increase the rent slightly to incluse a maintenance cost for providing this facility. Most landlords would expect the tenant to install this themselves that way the are responsible if any thing goes wrong and needs to be paid for. If I were you I would tell him to install it himself then the responsibility of it is down to him and not you. |

He wants it, he pays for it, usually. Give him permission to have it installed, but dont pay for the benefit of his viewing. |
