Subdivision plot, I need Real Estate Developer to help me answer this question.?
I own property on a land thats been subdivided and my neighbors share the remaining portions. One of my neighbors has an easement (right of way) on my REALLY LONGGGGG driveway. Its such a long driveway that it could be called a street. How can I go about requesting that my 'shared' driveway be converted into a public street? It would make both of our lives easier and would help tremendously when I go to sell the place (seeing that I'm not sharing a long driveway with my neighbor anymore). Any help how a private resident can do this by asking my town? Any real estate developers out there? How do those new house communities create their own streets? helppp!!!

Not going to happen. Start with the State Highway department.

Talk to your city or county development (zoning) department. In order for it to become a public road; 1. it would have to have been built to local road standards and 2. every property owner along the road would have to agree to the change. The first thing you need to check is the width of the easement versus the required width for a public road. I suspect the easement width does not meet the standards for a public road right of way and if that's the case every property owner would have to give up land.
