Yes. there are strict rules about this. If you could have paid your rent, or kept the music down, eg whatever and didn't then got evicted they you are intentionally homeless |

In reading your other posts, I see that you also have problems with employers that don't pay you leave to have a kid and other people the you feel OWE you something.

I have worked in an emergency housing department for a council. If you have made yourself intentionally homeless you have either been evicted because of your conduct i.e. rent arrears, ASB etc. Or you have left a property for a reason the council do not deem as acceptable, an acceptable reason would be domestic violence for example. If you give more info I may be able to help you... |

Am not an expert in this area, but contact CAB (citizens advice bureau) or your local MP for help. |

Yes this happens. Job to comment without knowing the detail, ..You are now expected to find your own private rented accomodation. |

I agree with Real Estate Guy, looking through all your posts, they seem to be about getting benefits, something for nothing, may be it woould be a good idea for you to go back to france, let them pay your benefits. |

and this is why people lie on the housing forms...
the council give priority to people who are homeless through no fault of their own. if you do not HAVE to leave where you are now then they will not consider you. i think you are probably on the waiting list but dont hold your breath! all you can do is make another claim and get proof that you are not making yourself homeless. just the way it is.
try visiting your local citizens advice as they are really good at helping with council housing. |

No as I have never qualified for council accommodation.
Making yourself intentionally homeless covers a number of factors such as failing to pay rent or breaking your tenancy agreement, or getting evicted due to your behaviour.
You have not said what you did to end up homeless. |

i had a 2bedroom flat and the place kept getting trashed nd burgled everytime i went out. the council said it was my own fault due 2 knowin the names of the people who did this! i also had police involved. when i was 8months pregnant i recieved and eviction notice from the housing association sayin i was in rent arrears i tried to explain that i could not stay at the time as i had 3smashed windows and it was not safe anymore as they would not come and repair the windows and make it safe for myself and my unborn child. i have now been homeless for near enough 2years and have been refused help from everywhere! can anyone give me some advice of what i can do? i have 2children the youngest is 5days old i feel im at the end of my tether now as its not fair on them.
