Im trying to calculate what my expenses for a year would be. Could you guys give me some estimates or tell me what bills im not considering. here is what i got so far. haven't actually attained an apartment yet.

Apartment ($800 a month, NY is expensive) ($9600 year) dont know what the surcharges or fees are

Cell Phone ($110 a month, $1320 a year) after all fees

Electricity ($50 a month, 600 a year) I work long hours 6 days a week, study for grad school (3 yrs away) and spend time, volunteer and at the gym hardly ever home

Public Transportation fee ($76 a month, $912 a year)

Food ($150 - 200 a month, 1800 - 2400 a year) honestly have no clue

land line/internet ($75 a month, 900 a year) not sure about fees

Gym membership (360 a year)

Clothes (2500 a year due to business suits and accessories)

Missellenious ($2000 a year)

Total - $19,992 a year (or so I hope) im trying to save up a saftey net and cash for investments

This list does not include costs for initial furniture and supplies i need to move into an apartment.
Additional Details
some of these numbers such as clothing and miscellaneous may be way off, because i don't have a great idea of how much i have to spend and still am technically looking for an apartment.
