yahoo | Trailer parks? |
when you live in a trailer park, do you have to pay for the trailer AND rent the lot, or do you just have to do one? |

EMAILSKIP
Usually you own the trailer and pay rent for the space. |

Lisa Marie
usually both but sometimes it depends on the landlord. usually you own the trailer and rent the space. |

NOT!
Trailer parks a cool, iguess |

Who me?
You will pay for trailer and rent the lot. It maybe better to buy a trailer with land and home package that way you will be owning the lot instead of renting it. |

mvwi
both then when the trailer is paid off you have to pay a monthly lot fee. |

YOU USUALLY ALREADY OWN THE TRAILER....AND PAY MONTHLY RENTAL ON THE LOT AND WATER USAGE PLUS YOUR OWN UTILITY EXPENSES. YOU CAN RENT ONE FROM AN OWNER WHO INCLUDES BOTH RENTALS IF IT IS SO OFFERED.... |

It depends on how you have everything set up. The place I was lookin at I would have had to pay for the trailer and the lot as well. |

Micki
You have to pay both. And most of the time the lot fee is higher than the mortgage on the trailer. Good luck! |

xmushroomhe said t.p.s 'cool'. I bet he's correct. But before going out and buying a trailer consider this:
Tornadoes FEED on trailer parks. |

both |

Yes. You have to pay your trailer payment, and a lot payment. Unless you are leasing the trailer from the park, then your lease and lot rent will be a combined amount. |

Darby
Depends, but usually you own the trailer and pay a monthly fee for the lot, usually which includes garbage pickup, water and sewer and access to some sort of laundry facility and maybe a playground. But I guess someone could rent out their trailer. Check it out. |

you buy your trailer...that is your property. You then must find an empty spot to rent in a trailer park. You pay a monthly rent for the spot you park your trailer on. You are renting that piece of land. The trailer is yours. |

Well that all depends on whether you owned the trailer and moved it in there, or if the trailer was already there.
If you moved in your own trailer that you own, then you would just pay for the lot.
If you moved in your own trailer that you are buying, leasing, or renting, then you would be paying for the trailer and renting the lot.
If you moved into a trailer that was already sitting on the lot, then you would be paying for the both at the same time! |

If you are renting the trailer, you just pay a flat fee for the trailer, not the lot. Some people own their own trailer but rent the lot. Those people are usually getting their trailer financed by whoever owns the trailer park, if they didn't buy it outright. |

I 8 duck like I was starving
I think it's both, but i've never lived in a trailer park |

redhead
BOTH unless you own your trailer. But they usually combine it to one bill. |
