This website will get you to the county records for any county assessor that is online
www.netronline.com. Click on "public records online" then click on the state you're in when the map comes up. Then choose the county you want. IF the county records are online (most big metro areas are and some smaller counties are starting to get with the times) then the last screen will have a link that says "go to records online" next to the county assessor. Go to the assessor's website and then look it up. The person that said whitepages is being helpful too, but that doesn't tell you who's name is on the deed, it just tells you the person that last had their phone bill mailed to that address- Not always the same person |

Go to the town website and look up tax records, assessors records and it will have the registered owner.
Also if you go to the registry of deeds site you can do a search by address and it is all public record.
Good luck!

The owner of a home is on file with your local government office since it is on public record. You need to call your local office or visit there for the info. |

Go to the county tax assessor's website. They should have links that allow you to look up specific addresses where you can find the tax history for the last x-amount of years, including who the owner was during the reporting period.
For example, if you go to the San Diego county tax collector's website, there is a link that says Pay Taxes. When you click that link, a form pops up where you enter the property address or parcel number (and it can be any address, not just yours). When you click Search, it returns the name of the property owner, the property tax status (paid in full or amount owed), and a list of all deeds filed on the property for the last 10 years or so. This then gives you a history of who owned the property over the last 10 years. |

Go to yahoo and type in "(county name here) appraisals district" then there will be a county appraisal district in your state. Click it. Then click the "search appraisal" feature (or it will say something like that). Click search by address. Type in the address and press search. Then tada! Your owner. |

find out what county it is in. then, do a google search for "county name tax assessment" where county name is the county name. Many counties now post the tax information (including owner) on the internet. |
