It would depend where the land is, for example you wouldn't be allowed to live on land that was part of a green belt. If you bought land that already had planning permission you might be fine though you might have to start slowly building a house. |

Technically speaking, it can be legal, but just like everyone have said, there are laws. Even if you don't have a home built on it, you still need to pay taxes for different fees. It would be best to consult a lawyer that knows the laws of your land. |
