Paint everything in neutral colors like light beige or Cream or Ivory color. That way, everyone's belongings will fit and they can re-paint at their leisure in the colors they'd really like. If you re-carpet, do the same. Use a light beige. |

White and off white. Light colors make the rooms/exterior look bigger. People may like or not like colors, but nobody will count points against you for plain of antique or bone white...
Unless the walls are already a darker color, in which case the old color may show thru unless you use several coats - in this case i would recommend almond - still light and neutral, but dark enough to cover bright undercoats. |

You should stick with neutral colors, beige, almond, white. Chances are the buyers will repaint to their liking anyhow |

you should watch this show on HGTV called "designed to sell" if you have it or go to HGTV.com and look up that show. They do a really good job fixing up houses to sell. they usually use neutral colors on walls. good luck! |

It depends on the style of home. For a brick or exterior veneer I would go with beigh, tan, white, bamboo, or a shade of amber. For a colonial style home, I would say white or off white. These are for the exterior. Any neutral color will do on the inside, but in a colonial style some fancy wall paper looks real nice like in the living room, entrance ways, and baths. Use your imagination. |
