Were is the best place to post an ad for an apartment?
Try www.craigslist.org. Just go to the website, click on your city (check list on the far right on the page) look under the HOUSING heading and click on apts/housing and then post your ad.
I love the craigslist site because it reaches so many people in your own community.

I know I always check the classifieds in the local paper first before I try anything else. It will be cheaper for you to post an add there too. Craigslist is good for that also.

The best place to post an ad for an apartment is where people who are looking for an apartment look first. I've looked for an apartment a few times over the years, and I've always checked the local paper first. I've seen those flyers up in the laundromat and the grocery, but I've never pulled down one of those phone numbers. I've looked at Craigs List to look at prices, but I've never actually gotten an apartment from there. If you live in the suburbs of a city, there's probably a smaller local paper than the big city paper.
