(1) You don't get any more income from it
(2) You'll need to pay back any depreciation you've claimed over the years
(3) It's like selling any asset - the price you get might be considered income. and hence you will be liable for income tax on the profits (the difference between buying price and the selling price). |

You cant collect rent.
Honestly if you were goint to sell you should have sold 5 years ago. I'm sure your still probably up money since you've owned it so long but why own a property for 20 years to sell it when the real estate market bottoms out. |
