di_cassano | What's a Mobile House? |

It is a mobil home and sometimes you can get one set up on a piece of land. Which they are expensive to set up.
But for a quick place to live they are also very inexpensive.
Find out the year it was build and make sure it has been made since 1990's. The ones made before that time were very shoddy build and didn't last very long. The newer models are much better build.
Use to be thought of as for senior citizens or temporary housing but now a days it is a quick way to build a house.
Some are very well made and last a long time.
Why are they cheeper to buy is that how much would it cost if you had a car made in your yard? Bringing out the engline and doors. Having it made in a factory and brought out to the site it is complete. Cheaper and easier to make.
Some now look so much like a stick buildt house it is hard to tell the difference. |

A mobile home is a pre-fabricated (or manufactured) building - not "stick-built" on site. They may have wheels, but they are not really mobile in the sense a trailor is. If the home is in a mobile home park, you would rent the land. But there is nothing to stop you from buying land and placing a mobile home on it. Some of them are quite nice.

A moveable home/trailer.
Sometimes the land comes with it and sometimes it doesn't. And sometimes you rent out the land and own the home. You'll have to ask the home owner/seller. |

its a trailor..unless you own the land..most times you pay lot rent |

Mobil style sounds like it looks like a standard "Mobile Home" which can be dragged around on wheels. |

A mobile house is on wheels. It is parked on a lot. And, unless you own the lot, the wheels are usually put under the mobile home in case the home needs to be relocated. The skirting usually hides the wheels plus protects and insulates your pipes. |

Trailers can be sold without the land so be sure to discuss with the seller if it includes the property. You may see something called a "pad" which is the concrete slab it's on. These pads can be rented, or purchased in some cases. |

lol its a trailer. like, u know, a car only with usually 2 bedrooms and a bath and a kitchin?
and, no the land it was built on would not be yours, u would have to go to a trailer site(a big place where lots of people go and park their trailers) and rent out the space. |

okay, a mobile home is a trailer.. the land that it is on is just a rented lot.. you pay for the lot and if you move you can have your trailer moved.. that's why there are trailer parks.. |
