I would assume they would have to give you notice of the selling of the house for a descent time prior to it. They would also probably not be able to do it if you have some ongoing contract or lease If you have no lease, contract, verbal agreement, or it has expired and they have told you in advance you should probably spend your time now looking for a new place. |

Unfortunately the owner can sell and you'll be looking for a new place. You might be able to go to court but that expense would only make the lawyers richer. |

To start with, he needs to give you at least a 30 day notice...did he have you sign a lease of sorts? if so it should state on the lease,if not ...he needs to give the notice in writing, with at least enough notice for you to find a place and move your stuff.

You'd have to read your lease. It should have provision about how long of notice the landlord must give you. If you do not have a lease, then you have to go. You can't have a verbal agreement to rent property from someone who doesn't own it. |
