There are places like California and Florida where the rentals are high, BUT property taxes are super high and it's difficult to get insurance on the properties, so you're taking a chance. Don't buy unless you can afford it though cause there have been a lot of foreclosures in both places recently. What are the best countries to buy property in, well if you're asking about safety, then try Paraguay. I understand some high up executives here just bought property there. I think the best thing to do is buy community type rental properties (many buildings) in maybe a college town, invest in them by providing decent but basic amenities. At least you'd have steady income. |
