Yes - 21st. In case you're wondering why, think of this. The first year AD ( after Jesus's death) was the first century. So up to the year 100AD, it was the first century. Then year 101 AD to 200AD was the second. 201AD to 300AD was the third. So whatever year it is, always go forward one for the century. Therefore, 2007 ( twenties) is the 21st Century. I think I'm right with the numbers for the first few centuries but it's way past my bedtime so please forgive me if I'm out! |
