If you have no previous rental history, you will either have to have a co-signer or have to have a bigger security deposit. You don't need absolutely perfect credit, but if you don't have any previous rental history, that's all they'll have to go on.
Expect to pay everything upfront -- the security deposit, application fee, first month's rent (and maybe last month's rent). You also need to arrange for power to be turned on in your name, water to be turned on in your name, phone service, cable (if you can manage it). |
