A big suitcase full of money. 8-) Well, that would help the most, but usually that is not an option. Is the apartment "furnished"? If not, the amount of stuff you need is stupefying. Plan on taking everything you own, and everything your parents will part with. Every "move in" kit should include cleaning supplies and a roll of toilet paper.
Check the apartment, and figure out where you will sleep, where you will store your clothes and stuff, what you will cook with. I hope you have figured out how you are going to pay the rent, utilities and groceries.
