Go for it, but I'd research the liens before signing anything. Sometimes the owners haven't paid taxes for years and years and you'll owe thousands of dollars.

Sure. Get an inspection to make sure its in good condition, and better get a good realtor to walk you thru the whole thing but you can get some great deals.

Absolutely go for it. As previously stated have a home inspection done so you will not get any big surprises. By purchasing one that has not been torn up you will be saving yourself some expenditures and headaches.
