Maybe if you had legit reasons for it being late! Talk to them and see where you stand!

Mellow lazy guy
...you need to pay it, They can kick you out and if they're nice enouph they'll let you stay just a little bit to try and pay it but i doubt it....They'll give you a notice saying you got so many days to get out and then they can sue if they like.

It depends on what the Landlord wants to do. Just remember that you don't need to sign a new agreement. Your tenancy will becom statutory periodic. The Landlord has to give you at least 2 months notice to vacate the property to end on a rent due date. For example, if u'r rent is due on the 5th august and they serve notice on the 6th august, they can't order you to leave until the 5th November. Consistant late rental payments are grounds for eviction but only at a judges discretion. However, if you have 2 months or more rent outstanding, a judge has to order an eviction.

It depends on your lease and how open you've been with your landlord/agency. For inhstance if you told them that your rent would be late and reasons as to why.

I guess this is worry to you right now and maybe it would be a good idea to speak to landlord/agency, let them know you are aware your rent's been late a times, give them some kind of reasons as to why it happened, do state that, even though late at times, it still got paid, that you can now guarantee your rent will be paid on time, and hope for the best. And if they do renew your lease then make sure you do pay your rent when due! Problem is that, were you ever to apply for a council house/flat, the authorities you apply to would check with previous landlord/agency to make sure you paid your rent! So you need to have a good record.

The fact that you do get it paid, they might renew. But I am a landlord in the USA, and I would not renew. The reason for there being a due date is the property owner needs their money to meet expenses on time. If your late paying me, then I am late paying those I owe and credit rating gets hurt.

It all depends on your landlord. Under Scots law they need a court order to get you out, but not sure about the rest of the country. For proper advise contact your CAB

Have you fully paid up now. I don't think you'll have too much of a problem. I think it depends on your landlord. Definately speak to him/her/them. I think if you have good reasons that can mabye even be backed up he cannot be too hard on you.

For delay in rent payments interest can be charged. Please see your agreement. If you as a tenant is good few late payments may be excused,it depends on relations.

.
You will be kicked out and have everything taken that you own for the payment.

Grizzly
If it's less than 2 months before the end of the 6 and you haven't received notice yet it is unlikely that your Landlords plans to evict you (at the moment).

However, 2 be on the safe side - PAY YOUR RENT ON TIME!

I take it to mean that you have paid your rent, but have paid it late rather than you are 3 months in arrears. Well, this is all up to your landlord. We have had a smashing landlord, and although we have likewise been late on a few payments, we have never been in arrears (at least not for very long). Your landlord may be different, and not so obliging. He will be better inclined to renew your agreement if you made him aware of the fact ahead of time that rent would be late. You should definitely ask him what his plans are and if you can renew your letting agreement. If not, he has to give you a month or two notice (can't remember which) to quit the property. If you are in danger of being thrown out without notice, check with your citizen's advice bureau on what you can do, as I am sure he cannot legally do that.

i work at an apartment complex in PA. Heres the deal: its up to manager discretion. if you have called the manager and not hid when you would be late, you will probably be ok. i always take into consideration if the tenant has any disturbace calls from neighbors, and if they keep thier apartment clean. in the end, its up to the manager. start suckin' up now! good luck!
