What is a good gift for a client from a realtor?
Hello All,
I am a new realtor and i have a closing tomorrow. I would like to get my client a gift when i meet them at closing. What would be a good inexpensive gift i can get for them?
Additional Details
What would be a gift that is not very big which i can bring to them at closing. Gift cards are good, but what would be better and easy to put together. I am a guy, and we're not as creative as girls. Is a $50.00 gift card good if it was my only resort?

-A gift certificate to a restaurant near the home (when I moved, I couldn’t cook for about a month!)
-A gift card to Lowe’s
-A bottle of champagne & two glasses so they can celebrate

A basket with home related items in it. Basic cooking, gardening stuff. Include a Home Depot gift card as well.

Gift card to Home Depot
Gift card to a nursury (for outdoor plant)
Picture frame
Basket with dinner fixins (spaghetti, sauce, bread..etc)
two really nice key chains.

We bought our home almost nine years ago. Our realtor gave us a fruit basket and when we had our son she sent flowers.

Every month she sends a postcard with recipes on it and at Thanksgiving she calls and orders a pie for us.

That is a LOT of work to put into a couple that bought one home from you..but...I would work with no one but her! I refer her to EVERYONE I meet who needs a realtor and will deal with her alone when we sell this house.

give something that will be around. So that when they see it they remember you and when they want to move, they will call you again and again and again.

I like the picture idea.

When I bought my home the Realtor gave me a basket with 2 mugs, coffee, hot chocolate and some cookies. I thought it was nice. You can pick up a gift basket at a place like Marshalls or any coffee or gift shop. Quick, easy, painless and it makes it look like you tried to personalize it a bit. (I've always found gift cards to be in-personal)

maybe a nice bottle of wine (if you're pretty sure they drink) or perhaps some other type of nice house warming gift. just do a little research. take into consideration their age and lifestyle!

I like to give a plaque with the purchaser's family name, names of everybody in the immed family, a nice picture and some type of poem or other writtens words as appropriate. They cost about thirty dollars including shipping. They come with a very nice wood frame and a matte. You get to choose which frame, which picture, which poem and which matte.

Evertime they see it they will remember wear it came from.

I use a company from the web. I do not have thir name off the top of my head, but I can get it. If you would like to know more send me a email

hip lady wants YA fixed
a broom, mop, bucket, dust pan and brush, sponges, and cleaner. tie the bucket handle to the broom and mop with a pretty ribbon. on the card tell them that you thank them for being a client. then in small letters tell them that every one needs these. now if it is someone who has a lot of money then give them unscented candles.

Our realtor gave us a beautiful picture to hang on the wall. It was a nice landscape with a gorgeous frame.
