Florida's electricity bill is high due to central air.

I live in a very small house and my electric is $70 - $80 a month and my gas is usually around $20. I would ask the gas and electric people for a history too. I used to rent an apt. and my electric bill would be as high as $130 a month with a unit. I think central heat and air is lower. |

It depends on what appliances you have, It slos depends on what your electric rates are. I pay about $150 a month and I have a 4 bedroom house, 3 Air conditioners , stove, I Refrigerator/Freezer, microwave and internet.
figure $30 to $50 a month roughly. Unless you have electric heat
Gas bill can depend . Is your range gas or electric. Is your heat gas or electric or oil?
If you just have a gas stove, it would be maybe $15-$20 monthly.
For electric, count circuit breakers. If fuses count the amount of fuses.

I live in a three bedroom, 1500 sq. ft apartment and my electric is around 50-60 and the gas is around 40-50. I pay no water bill and I live in Atlanta GA. So that being said, it will depend on the size of the apt, not the bedroom size as I've seen quite large one bedrooms, and also how much you use it. If you're not home a great bit and there's only you, I'd say you're quite safe on betting that your utility bills should be no more than $100 a month. Good luck. |
