There is no salary, they are sell employed. How much you earn depends on how much you work and how many agents you hire.

Real estate Brokers don't get a salary I don't think?

My Brokers make probably a Million a year in commissions in a normal market. In this market couple hundred thousand or less much less like most have started bar tending an such, this is OK I still work with them just not for real estate

it's all based on how many houses you sell -it's commission work

Because this is a sales based industry you cannot determine what real estate agents make. There are some that make 10,000 and some make 6 figures. I can tell you from personal experience, I know of many people that have made over a 100k including myself.

If you speak well and you are a hard worker...there is no reason why you cannot make that much.

It's easy when you work hard

In San Antonio, the AVERAGE (what a lousy way to say how much a person earns) is probably around $6,000 per year. Yes, six thousand dollars. Some make more, most make less.

Of over 8,000 licensed Realtors in San Antonio, probably no more than 400 of us actually are making a living at it.

Not sure if you're asking for a broker's salary or an agent's salary? Agents work on a commossion-only basis, at least where I am in Indiana. So your salary would depend on how many houses you sell in a year. Brokers are kind of like the managers of the agents in a Realtor company. They get a salary, starting around $50,000/year. Some brokers still sell on the side and get some commissions from that, but you can't sell very much and do your broker job.
