APARTMENT!!
BUT A HOUSE WOULD HAVE MORE ROOM AND PRIVACY!!
BUT IF YOUR RENTING THE APARTMENT WILL SAVE YOU HUNDEREDS OF DOLLARS!! |

Depends on what you want out of your dwelling.
If having a yard is important to you or not sharing a wall with your neighbors go with the house, otherwise go with the apartment. |

A house. With a house you dont have to worry about neighbors making noise (well not so close anyway). A house gives you a bit more freedom. |

If you have a family, a house would have more space for you and provide more privacy, but the up keep of the house would be more expensive---lawn care, larger utility bills |

It really depends on privacy and outdoor activities.
In a house you will have to mow the grass, etc.
In an apartment your sharing walls and floors.. perhaps even a swimming pool. Its a personal choice obviously but if you have kids I would opt for the house, if not I would opt for the apt. |

Doesn't seem to make a difference to me. What ever is more economical and what the areas are like. Also, yard work would probably be your responsibility with renting a house. |

That completely depends on the management and your household situation. If you like doing yardwork, and prefer your privacy, then a house would be better for you. However, if you don't have kids and noise from either an upstairs/downstairs/next door neighbor wouldn't bother you, then your best bet (and lower maintanence option) would be an apartment. It also depends on the area you are renting. Some apartment complexes have washer/dryer hook-ups just like a house normally would, plus some have swimming pools/gyms/fax services etc. Think about what your needs and wants are and comparison shop. Also find out which option would have a better rental maintanence program (ie..if a pipe breaks/stove repair/drain blockage etc.) |

IT DEPENDS WHO IS LIVING IN IT. yOU AND A PARTNER I WOULD SAY THE APARTMENT. IT WOULD BE A LITTLE SMALLER AND EASIER FOR YOU TO MAINTAIN. IF YOU HAVE KIDS I would say a house as you have easier access an play area outback |

depends on your preferences. If you like a yard and bigger space and not having to worry about being loud or sharing parking spaces. ....... pick the house.
if you like having amenities like a pool , weight room, playground, tanning bed and so on...... then pic an apt. |

This depends a lot on your lifestyle. Pros for the house: More privacy than an apartment, a yard for dogs or kids, Usually more storage. Pros for the apartment: amenities like a pool or weight room etc, sometimes more security depending on the complex, ability to lock and leave.
Cons for the house: yard work, security.
Cons for the apartment: noise, parking, no yard
You can usually get more for your money in a house than an apartment and the rent usually doesn't go up as often. |

House then you don't have to worry bout your nabers and the walls and you will have yard to have a party in |

If your gonna rent, you might as well pick which one has the lowest rent, which is most likely th apartment. Just be careful, you don't want to end up renting forever! |

That depends on the price comparison, who does yard work, if the house has extra storage(ie garage) and if the house has more square footage that would better accommodate your life. |
