What is the cheapest way to live?
What's the cheapest way to live on your own? Living in a trailer, mobile home, modular home? Living in your car?

I'm looking for creative and/or practical answers.

Live in your car

Buy a gym membership so you can use it for shower and morning grooming. (cheaper if you use the park's fountain)

Churches often give out donated clothes, so you can use that
Sometimes they give out food too.
For better food, you can ask for spare change at a fast food chain and buy their dollar menu.

If you're attending school, use the library and school resource for computer, books,, etc
but get a laptop and just park outside a internet cafe for ur internet urges

good luck

When I first moved out of my house, I shared a studio apartment (500/month that included utilities) with a friend.. for food we went to bars that had specials.. like $1 burgers, .10 cent wings, etc.. food to have in the house we bought dollar pizza's, chefboyrd raviolis, etc.. or the fast food's dollar menu.

sure you can live on the street or in your car, but for most people that's not really practical.

You could live in a tent, but if you want to be comfortable, try a small apartment with utilities furnished, close to work.

this is what I would do.Buy an estate car, put a blanket in it, have a shower at the local swimming baths each day. Rest of the day is spent begging for swimming money.

A modular home, a.k.a. a cardboard box. If you want creative, get some glitter glue and personalize it.
