It used to be just my pocketbook which had my credit cards, license, etc. Since I had my son, I have a whole truckload of stuff that needs to come with me! The baby goes in the portable car seat, obviously, we carry a baby blanket and we have a huge diaper bad full of diapers and accessories, bottles, burp cloths, baby food, tons and tons of other stuff! Then there's my pocketbook. ;)
