in a big office, everyone has a different opinion. Some people are hot when it's 68 and some are freezing. Keep it at 72. |

The Department of Environmental Health recommends 68 degrees. It's the temperature they use in hospital rooms and other public places...a bit cool if you're just laying around, but lessens the chance of contracting diseases...bacterias thrive in a too warm environment. People can put on a sweater. It's more difficult to take more clothes off. That's why the lower temp is the best one. |

68 to 72 degrees.. Computers need a cool environment as well as most of the people there who are dressed professionally in heavy suits and such.. It is not good to be sweating when you are doing business.. Good luck. God Bless {:-)

It depends on what kind of office if it's mostly humans i'd say around seventy but every thermostat is different and some parts of the building will be cooler or hotter than others so you kinda have to figure out a happy medium average, remember you can send a memo to tell people to bring sweaters you cannot send people a memo to take off clothes. |

In my store the preferred temperature is 71 F, though naturally you need to consider the climate you live in. Perhaps if you never even reach a high of 71 throughout the year it would be a little ridiculous to have that in your office. Though my recommendation would be two options, figure out the average temperature through the yea and that should suffice, otherwise walk into a large corporate building and ask what temperature it is, or even a wal mart would work. |
