150K in my area...at least 3-4 bedroom / 2-2.5 baths / 1800-3000 sq ft. Of course, not all the upgrades, but you can get a decent home in Texas for 150K. |

In my area? Not much. The city decided to give the houses very high assessments and so the taxes are sky high, to the point where people are having a very hard time selling their homes. |

In St. Louis, that can get you a starter homes in many parts of town.
It’s probably a ranch or bungalow, 2-3 bedrooms (more in some areas), 1-2 bathrooms. Probably around a 1,000 square feet. Could be more or less depending on location. |

Exactly depends on location. There are some nice homes for $150,000 in NC in decent areas and there are some in not so decent areas. In NC you get a lot for your money, I purchased a townhome for less than that and it's huge, brand new and I had a lot of upgrades put in so it cost me more than $150,000 when all was said and done but compared to Florida I got a lot for my money. |
