If you put less that 20% down you will be asked to pay mortgage insurance. You also will have property taxes (ask for these to be put into escrow) Don't forget that you will have unexpected expenses for repairs, and may need to purchase things like rakes, shovels, a snow-blower, etc. Enjoy your new home. |

I would say everyday home maintenance and upgrades you feel you want/ need to do. Along with property tax if your not getting that escrowed. I must say though owning a home is so much better than renting!!! I advise you do it. |
