What should my parents do?
ok here is the story my parents sold our house and we built a new one, brand new and they needed money from my aunt to finish it. now we got the money from her and now we have to pay her back, but my parents cant get any loans because they owe money to all the other loans they have. and the mortgage payment now is too much and i wanna help my parents so can i get a small loan to help them?, but i dont have any credit history. i work and i thnk i can help pay for the loan. im 19, and i dunno how all this housing/loan/refinancing system works. please help. im pretty sure they owe her a lot money, i dunno the exact numbers. but what is the best solution. and my parents dont qualify for the loans they have been applying for. PLEASE HELP
Additional Details
the other solution they have is to sell the house. but i dontt think they r behind on the payments, but r very close.

First off, its really commendable you want to help, however I would not get a loan out, and destroy your credit even before you have begun using it.

Do you live at home? Since you are working, I would help pay for living expenses such as pay them rent your for your room and part of their utilities. Also offer to help pay for groceries, and just by giving them a little bit of your income in that way will help them.

I commend you for wanting to help your parents. Nice breath of fresh air.

Rather than try to take out a loan, why not give them part of your earnings? Figure out how much you need for your expenses, savings, etc. and give them what you can.

They will probably really appreciate your intentions.

Wounded Duck
They owe more than they can afford to pay. They should have thought of that before they spent the money.

Tim
You need to stay out of it. It sounds like a sinking ship and you don't want your credit to be dragged down with it. In reality you will not qualify for enough (if any) of a loan to make a difference.

Your parents need to get second jobs to make the payments, file bankruptcy and even possibly face foreclosure.

There is no easy answer, they dug too deep a hole. It probably can't be filled in by now.

You need to talk to your parents about this, not ask here.

Why aren;'t you or your parents just making payments direct to your aunt? Why did they not roll all their loans into a combo house loan when it was finished and then maybe get an equity loan to pay her? Sounds like they overstepped their budget.

First you need to change "am i a loser"

Loans are not working for your family.

If you want to help you can get a job and help that way.

They can also file bankruptcy and re-afirm the house and vehicles
